Age: About 200 years old. Born to Darkness in his mid twenties. Maker: Lestat Fledglings: In order- Half parent to Claudia (with Lestat) and Madeline at the end of Interview with the Vampire. Appearance: About 6 ft. Long black hair, pale skin (but not as pale as most of the other vampires), emerald green eyes, pretty damned good looking. Usually wears black, dusty clothes that are reminiscent of the style worn in the 18th century when he was mortal. Character: Although quiet and reserved Louis is a vampire of an extremely strong character. Strength that he shows in Interview with the Vampire quite obtrusively. Note: In many of the fan fictions that you might read on the net you may get the impression that Louis is really 'soft' and quite woman like. That's a load of bull to me. Books: Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief and Memnoch the Devil. History: Read Interview with the Vampire for the full story.
